“Amazing experience. You’re well taken care of - they will provide a backpack with food and water and some hiking poles. I went in September and all I really needed was a hat, sunglasses and some hiking boots. A warm jacket will help, since it can get windy and a little cooler in the morning. The views are amazing and the hike is not too difficult. You get to choose between a 9km or 13km hike. We did the 13km hike and it was perfect. On the way back they will take you to this very authentic taco place which is really great. Take lots of photos when you’re up…”
